Karachi Central Jail, introduced online system of meeting prisoners.
Online system has introduced to Meeting families of prisoners. Special mobile application has developed to introduce new system in Central Jail Karachi.
According to the report, it will be possible to meet the prisoners by getting an appointment with the help of mobile application.
Introducing this modern system aims to facilitate people coming from far-off places for meeting purposes.
Assistant Superintendent Jail Misbahuddin says that they have prepared this program in cooperation with the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Agency of the United States.
Sindh Interior Minister inaugurated the project related to online appointment.
Five booths have been put up near the jail’s main gate to guide and verify for meeting purposes.
Interior Minister Sindh Brigadier (retd) Haris Nawaz said in this regard that they have started this project with the support of INL, for which they are grateful.
He said that they should have started this project long ago. The relatives of the prisoners were suffering a lot and had to wait for 4 to 5 hours.
Remember that individuals attending the appointment must register their relevant information two days in advance, which may require some time.
