Within 24 hours of its release, the first trailer for the movie “Deadpool and Wolverine” was viewed by 365 million people, which breaks the previous records.
The trailer became the most viewed trailer in a day, breaking the previous record held by Sony Marvel Studios’ Spider-Man: No Way Home.
The teaser introduces the third installment of the Deadpool movie series, featuring a birthday party for Wade Wilson (portrayed by Ryan Reynolds), interrupted by unexpected visitors from the Time Variance Authority (TVA).
Wilson’s encounter with Paradox (played by Matthew Macfadyen) leads to an invitation to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
With a star-studded cast including Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Emma Corrin, Morena Baccarin, Rob Delaney, Leslie Ugmes, Karan Soni, and Matthew Macfadyen.
Reynolds reunited with director Sean Levy for the film.
The 2023 Screen Actors Guild and American Federation of Television and Radio Artists strike delayed the film, initially slated for release in September and November of that year.
Directed by Shawn Levy and produced by Ryan Reynolds, Kevin Feige and others, the film will hit theaters on July 26.
