Former national cricket team captain Saeed Ahmed passed away in Lahore.
Saeed Ahmed, who made his debut against the West Indies at the age of 20, passed away at the age of 86. He was rushed to the hospital on Wednesday afternoon and died at the hospital shortly after.
On this occasion, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) expressed grief over the death of former captain Saeed Ahmed. PCB said in its statement that it condoles the death of late Saeed Ahmed to his family and loved ones.

It should be noted that Saeed Ahmed represented the Pakistan team in 41 Test matches. He made his international debut in 1958 against the West Indies. Saeed Ahmed scored 2991 runs in Test cricket while also taking 22 wickets.
Saeed Ahmed represented the Pakistan cricket team for 15 years from 1958 to 1973. He also has the honor of playing alongside Pakistan’s legendary batsman Hanif Muhammad.
