A Few Minutes Exercise Boosts a Specific Molecule in Brain

6-minute high-speed exercise boost brain molecule, Uni of Otago study.

According to research, this 6-minute exercise surprisingly increases the production of an important protein in the brain.

This protein plays an important role in the structure and physical functions of the brain. Diseases begin to progress.

Brain-derived neurotrophic factor promotes both the growth and maintenance of neuron cells in the brain, in addition to facilitating memory development.

According to this research, just six minutes of brisk exercise can prevent many brain diseases

Research Results

For this study, people of different ages, between the ages of 18 and 55, were put through a variety of activities to see how these activities affect the brain’s BDNF. Which will be the method?

These activities included fasting and cycling, in which fasting was to be done for 20 hours, while cycling was to be done continuously for six minutes.

The best results came from short-term high-speed cycling, which provided surprising results in increasing protein production in the brain.

It increased BDNF levels in the blood four to five times, but with light exercise and fasting No specific results were revealed.

Researchers have concluded that vigorous exercise is a very simple and inexpensive way to keep the brain fit.

According to Travis Gibbons, an environmental physiologist at the University of Otago in New Zealand, pharmaceutical companies are currently unable to increase the production of this protein, so they are looking for unconventional ways to increase the amount of this protein in the future. Can be protected from various diseases.
