General Presidency unveil “guidance robot” for Grand Mosque & Prophet.
The General Presidency of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has started a novel artificial intelligence project: a “guidance robot” designed to assist guests and Umrah performers within the Grand Mosque.
This state-of-the-art robot streamlines fatwa procedures by giving instructions on how to perform rituals and issue fatwas. One of its distinctive features is the ability to include simultaneous translations and engage with well-known persons who participate in answering queries remotely.
The robot, which has a 21-inch touch screen and is available in 11 languages including Arabic, English, French, Russian, and Chinese, offers a variety of services specifically designed for Grand Mosque guests.
The robot has four wheels and a clever parking mechanism to ensure smooth and agile movements. It was designed with mobility in mind. Additionally, it has high-resolution front and rear cameras that enable detailed surround photography of its surroundings. A high-quality microphone and enhanced audio features including crisp speakers guarantee crystal-clear voice broadcasts.
The robot’s speedy and efficient data transfer, which runs on a super-fast 5 GHz Wi-Fi network. Demonstrates the Grand Mosque’s commitment to merging tradition with contemporary advancements for the benefit of its visitors.
