Together, the top ambassadors of the United States and the United Kingdom demanded on Tuesday that Pakistan uphold the “rule of law” after the arrest of former prime minister Imran Khan led to violent protest.
American Secretary of State Antony Blinken stated during a joint news conference in Washington that “we just want to make sure that whatever happens in Pakistan is consistent with the rule of law and with the constitution.”
