ANP Senior Vice President Ameer Haider Hoti has Resigned

After the defeat in elections, Ameer Haider Hoti resigned from post.

PESHAWAR: The Awami National Party (ANP) senior vice president, Ameer Haider Khan Hoti, has resigned to his post.

Aamir Haider Khan Hoti, senior vice president of Awami National Party, has said in his statement on the social media platform X (Twitter) that he openly accepts the responsibility for the defeat of ANP in all the constituencies of my native district of Mardan.

He said that if the people of my constituency and Mardan do not trust us, then I announce my resignation from the post of the party. As a lowly member of the party, I will be a part of Bacha Khan’s convoy.

In another post, Hoti congratulated newly elected MPA Abdul Salam Khan and MNA Atif Khan well in their service to the people, even as he graciously accepted their electoral setback.

From 2008 to 2013, Hoti—the nephew of ANP President Asfandyar Wali Khan—was Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s youngest and longest-serving elected chief minister.
