Slogans and banners in favor of Occupied Palestine have been ban during PSL 9. The security personnel stopped the woman who came to watch the match between Lahore Qalandars and Quetta Gladiators at the gate.
Security personnel stopped a woman named Faryal for raising banners in favor of Palestine, while slogans in favor of Palestine were written on the banners. The woman expressed her anger on social media and said that I was stopped as if I had brought a weapon with me.
The media say that the security personnel explained to the woman that banners are not allowed inside because it is a political and controversial message, which some people think is bad. Leave these banners outside if going in. Faryal says that the behavior of the security guards was inappropriate.
The victim Faryal said that the behavior of the security guards scared my younger siblings who came with me. I didn’t think it was appropriate to argue. The security guards did what they were told and that is their job.
Faryal says that the conditions written on the back of PSL tickets prohibit posters, banners or placards that are based on religious, political or ethnic discrimination. Carrying such banners into the match is strictly prohibited.
