Toshakhana Case: Imran Khan Skips Another Hearing

Last week, extra sessions judge Zafar Iqbal issued non-bailable arrest warrants for the PTI head after he failed to appear in court while attending hearings in three other instances including forbidden funding, terrorism, and attempted murder brought against him in other nearby local courts.

The judge stated in the verdict given on Monday, a copy of which is accessible to The News, that Imran had not contested the arrest warrants issued for him in any forum. accused scheduled to appear in this court on February 28 following his hearings in other courts, but he purposefully evaded doing so.

A total of 54MW worth of projects are currently being carried out by Military Engineering Services (MES) at various cantonments around Pakistan, with some of these projects making more than 70% of their actual ground-level progress.

But, suppliers are experiencing issues bringing in parts from outside, which has resulted in multiple projects being postponed for the past six months.

The General Headquarters (GHQ) has therefore asked the AEDB and other parties involved in the Prime Minister’s Initiative on “Clean and Green Energy” to align their vendors with the same facility offered to Build-Own-Operate-Transfer (BOOT) providers under the plan.

Sindh government no longer registers cars with yellow number plates.

According to information provided by Zia Shah, Deputy Director Admin of the Sindh Excise and Taxes Department, the issuance of yellow number Plates has been discontinued, and instead, new license plates with security features are being given to vehicle owners.

Over 250,000 replacement number plates have been given to vehicle owners, and the stock of yellow licence plates has been relocated to the department’s go down, Shah continued.

As there is no delay in the procedure, he urged the public to obtain their new license plates within three days. Those who want new number plates to replace their yellow ones can also acquire them in three days.

It should be mentioned that the Sindh government began distributing retroreflective license plates for automobiles in 2020.

The change happened when the Sindh cabinet gave its consent for the use of modern number plates for cars that had security elements.
