Addressing the media in the federal capital the minister said the PTI chief was “losing his nerves” as November and the much talked about appointment of a new army chief draws closer. and khuwaja also clamed that imran khan sent a message to the establishment
The claims come as a debate rages in national media and political circles on possible successors incumbent to Chief is Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa, who is going to be retire in November.
Everything will be according to law and constitution.
As November draws near, Asif stated that Imran Khan “has not been in his mind that is right and growing nervous.” He also added that everything will work out in accordance with the law and the constitution.
Minister laced in the PTI chief and said that Imran had proved that it’s people like him who come into power “when the Results Transmission System (RTS) stops working” that he was not eligible for the prime minister’s position, adding.
“Imran Khan has not been in his mind that is right and growing nervous as November is rapidly approaching,” said Asif, adding that everything will work out in accordance with the law and the constitution.

Asif went on to add that COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa’s tenure is concluding by the end of this and he should be allowed to spend time with the soldiers “respectfully” month. The defence minister reiterated that the national government has yet to decide on General Bajwa’s replacement.
