The CM of Sindh announced the Ramadan package of 22.5 billion rupees.
Sindh CM Murad Ali Shah announced a 22.5 billion rupees Ramadan package. According to the sources, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Sindh Chief Minister regarding price control in Ramadan.
At the meeting, the Chief Minister approved giving Rs. 5,000 in cash to 60% of Sindh’s population during Ramadan, while also resolving to provide relief to 4.5 lakh people with a minimum wage.
During the conference, it was clarified that the target of minimum wage is to reach 60% of the population of the province, that is, a family earning 32 thousand rupees per month is 60% of the population of the province. Each family will get 5000 thousand rupees from the bank.
If the government gives 5000 rupees to 35 lakh families during Ramadan, it will be more than 22.5 billion rupees.

Murad Ali Shah has directed the commissioner to initiate a crackdown against hoarders and profiteers.
The Chief Minister of Sindh said that the administration should ensure the notified prices of the goods in the market, adding that I myself will suddenly go out to check the prices.
Murad Ali Shah said that Sindh Zakat Department will pay 14000 rupees to 100,000 poor families.
He commanded that there should be no load shedding during Suhr and Iftar throughout the province, and that K-Electric, HESCO, and SEPCO should maintain the electricity grid in their respective districts during Ramadan.
The meeting saw the participation of Mayor Karachi, Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary, IG Police, Secretary Finance, Additional IG Police, Commissioner Karachi, and other relevant officers.
While commissioners and DIGs of other divisions participated in the meeting through video link.
