Peshawar, Swabi, Mardan, Dir, Abbottabad, Malakand, Haripur, Swat, Dera Ismail Khan, and Attock were just a few of the cities across the nation where earthquake tremors were reported.

According to the Seismological Centre, the earthquake’s epicentre was 36 km underground in Upper Dir. Panic sprang out among the populace as a result of the earthquake. As they left their homes, people recited the Kalima Tayyaba.

It should be noted that earlier, the Seismological Centre previously reported that earthquakes with magnitudes of 5.7 were felt in the cities of Islamabad and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Earthquake vibrations were felt in Peshawar, the Swat region, North Waziristan, and Islamabad at the beginning of this month. Tremors from the earthquake were also detected in Afghanistan’s Hindu Kush region.

According to the European Seismological Centre, the earthquake’s epicentre was in the Hindu Kush region. The depth of the earthquake, according to Pakistan’s National Seismic Monitoring Centre, was 187 kilometres, however no injuries were reported.
