ECP Denies Allegations of Rigging in Pakistan General Elections

ECP has rejected allegations of rigging in elections held in country.

Sources claim that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has rejected claims of elections rigging. According to the Election Commission, it is impossible to dismiss these kinds of instances based on a few unusual ones.

The notification made reference to the availability of pertinent platforms for their resolution. Decisions regarding complaints are made immediately.

Up until the very end, the elections were a huge operation that was finished. In the ROs’ offices, the EMS operated effectively. The election process was orderly and peaceful despite obstacles.

According to the Election Commission, presiding officers’ ability to transmit electronic data was hampered by the suspension of mobile connections.

The notification stated that the first election result for 2018 was received at four in the morning on the next day. It was significantly impacted by normal coordination, transportation, and stoppage of mobile service.

In less than two and a half days, the election results were finalized, with the exception of a few constituencies. Completing the 2018 election results took three days. The first result was received this time at two in the morning.
