Exchange of Fire in PPP and BAP Clash during PB-21 Vote Recount

During a vote recount on PB-21 seat, PPP and BAP in violent conflict.

Two parties, the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP), engaged in violent confrontation during a vote recount for the PB-21 seat in the Balochistan Assembly.

The unconfirmed and unverified results of PB-21 show that Muhammad Saleh Bhutani, the candidate for the Balochistan National Party (BAP), won with 30,910 votes.

According to Senior Superintendent (SSP) HUB Manzoor Buledi, there was an armed altercation between two parties during a vote recount for the PB-21 seat in the Balochistan Assembly from Hub.

The fire incident was reported last night outside Civic Centre, which is where the vote recount for the provincial assembly seat is being held, according to SSP.

Following their discovery of the firing incident, the police party responded on the spot and used Kalashnikov weapons to apprehend three offenders.

He confirmed that there had been two fatalities and thirteen injuries, one of which was critically injured.

SSP Buledi claims that the Frontier Corps has been stationed in the area to uphold law and order.

It is important to note that on February 11, the Pakistani Election Commission (ECP) suspended the election results and requested a recount of the votes cast in the PB-21 seat.
