FBR sets dollar limit for foreign travelers due to currency scarcity.

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) also stated that those over the age of 18 might carry Dollar up to $5,000 each international visit, while those under the age of 18 could take up to $2,000 for foreign visits. The letter also noted that persons under the age of 18 will be able to carry $15,000 each year, while those over the age of 18 will be allowed to carry $30,000 per year.
The FBR also stated in its notification that visitors to Afghanistan will be limited to carrying $1,000 every visit and will not be permitted to carry more than $6,000 per year.
