Imran Khan Announced Resume Long March on Tuesday

Imran Khan announces the resumption of Azadi Long March on Tuesday.

Imran Khan Announced in a press conference from Shaukat Khanum Hospital that the march will resume from Wazirabad and that he will address long march participants from the hospital on a regular basis.

He stated that the Azadi Long March will arrive in Rawalpindi in 10 to 15 days, at which point he will physically join the march. Imran Khan asked the people to join their demonstration and break free from fear.

The former prime minister also praised PM Shehbaz’s decision to launch an investigation into an assassination attempt on him in Wazirabad during a public rally.

Despite the PTI-PML-Q-led Punjab government, the FIR for the incident was not registered for the previous three days, he noted. “First, if video of me committing blasphemy emerges, it should be investigated.” A journalist linked with a political party then highlights the footage.

He wondered who was leaking confessional videos of the supposed suspect. Imran Khan has criticized the alleged unpleasant video release of party Senator Azam Swati, claiming that the video is not a hoax and should be probed. Azam Swati would monitor the sit-in outside the Supreme Court to ensure that justice is served, he added.

The PTI president also urged that the judicial commission looks into the killing of senior journalist Arshad Sharif and US cipher, which he claimed was the catalyst for destabilizing the PTI-led federal government.
