KARACHI: Fake Dollar have also Started to be Sold in Shahrah Quaid, FIA has Arrested the Suspect Abdullah Involved in the Sale of Fake Dollars.
According to the spokesperson of FIA, accused Abdullah, who was involved in the sale of counterfeit dollars, has been taken into custody in a significant operation of the Commercial Banking Circle Karachi.
On the direction of Director FIA Karachi Zone Zaeem Iqbal Sheikh, crackdown is on to arrest the accused.
In a raid under the supervision of Deputy Director Commercial Banking Circle Karachi Ali Murad, the accused Abdullah used to sell fake dollars to simple citizens under the guise of low prices.
According to the spokesman, the accused used to meet people in public areas to sell dollars, and 1600 phony US dollars were found in the accused’s possession.
The action against the accused has been initiated on the request of an aggrieved citizen.
The accused was arrested using technical means, and the inquiry has begun with them.
The spokesperson stated that more disclosures are expected at various points during the investigation.
