Prominent Indian actor-director Satish Kaushik the passes away at 66.
“I know that death is the ultimate truth, but never in my wildest dreams did I think that. I would have to write that about my closest buddy Satish Kaushik,” Kher wrote in a tweet sent out in the wee hours of Thursday.
“45 years of friendship abruptly come to an end. Without you, Satish, life will never be the same. Om Shanti,” he continued, accompanied by a black-and-white image of the couple.
The veteran revealed that Kaushik had a heart attack. In the early hours of Thursday in a statement to an Indian news outlet. The late actor was reportedly visiting a friend’s house in Delhi, the nation’s capital.

According to Kher, Kaushik had a heart attack at one in the morning while being transported to the hospital. After feeling uneasy and asking the driver to take him there.
Many of his colleagues in the industry expressed their sorrow at the veteran’s passing. And sent their condolences to the family.

According to sources, the deceased’s body was carried to the Deen Dayal Hospital in the metropolitan area at 5.30 am and is currently being kept in the mortuary. The postmortem will be performed at 11 am. A move to Mumbai will then take place with the body.

The National School of Theatre and the Cinema and Television Institute of India both graduated Satish Kaushik, who was born on April 13, 1956. The movies “Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron,” “Mr. India,” “Deewana Mastana,” and “Udta Punjab” are among those for which he was most known.
He also directed the cult romantic tragedy “Tere Naam” in his capacity as a filmmaker.
