On friday, Israel launch airstrike targeting Hamas in southern Lebanon
“The Israeli Air Force hit an open area in the Tayr region after which Israeli jets appear to have left Lebanon airspace,” Lebanese news agency al-Manar reported.
In another statement, Hamas has also condemned the attacks carried out by Israel on the Gaza Strip.
“Explosions and jets were heard” in Gaza City as Israeli forces said they were targeting the city – and they hit several areas with rockets.
In response, Gaza fired several rockets toward Israel.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health stated that Israeli strikes in Gaza City damaged a children’s hospital, putting young patients at risk.
The Ministry of Health also condemned the brutal attack, saying “This is not the first time that hospitals have been targeted, and it is highly unacceptable.”
“Israel will target our enemies and they will pay the price for every aggression,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said hours before Israeli forces attacked Gaza.
Tensions have risen since Israeli police raids on the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem during the holy month of Ramadan, beating innocent worshipers.
The Israeli brutality at Al-Aqsa Mosque was widely condemned by Muslim countries in response to Gaza’s rocket fire on Israel.
