During the festival — which went on from February 17 to 19 — and days following it, different famous people shared pictures and videos across different social networking platforms revealing their pleasure at being honoured by Javed Akhtar existence during the occasion.

Whilst the video moved viral, many a-listers spoke up about the accusation and condemned the implications.

Arsalan Naseer, a Youtube content creator and star, too condemned this declaration, saying in the trademark method in which is cheeky “How are you able to state something like that sitting within a hall full of Pakistanis?”
Then he said in jest, “Maybe India should create a movie about him right now with the working title “jaanbaz likhaari [fealess writer].”

Other a-listers who’ve spoken up contrary to the Jashn-e-Bahara songwriter include Saboor Aly, which referring to the incident associated with Indian pilot Abhinandan Varthaman said: “Our minds are so big, we send Indians straight back properly after offering them a cup tea.”

Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) frontrunner Sharmila Faruqui too berated Akhtar for his “controversial” remarks, adding that the songwriter should always be already been expected to go back.
