According to media reports, India’s top comedian star Kapil Sharma Gets Rs 5 crore from each episode of his new show.
World famous comedian and actor Kapil Sharma earns Rs 5 crore per episode of ‘The Great Indian Couple Show’ which was recently released on Netflix.
According to Indian media, the five episodes of The Great Indian Couple Show, which debuted on Netflix on March 30 this year, have reportedly featured several Bollywood celebrities as guests, including Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Imtiaz Ali, Diljit Dosanjh, Parineeti Chopra, and Aamir Khan.
For the five episodes of the show, Kapil was paid a staggering Rs 26 crore, meaning each episode costs more than Rs 5 crore.
Archana Puran Singh, who usually sits on the audience bench, gets Rs 10 lakh per episode, while Sunil Grover is paid Rs 25 lakh.
Similarly, Rajeev Thakur, Kiku Sharda, and Krishna Abhishek also get Rs 10 lakh, 7 lakh, and 6 lakh for each episode respectively.
Notably, after a gap of six years, comedian Sunil Grover has returned to Kapil Sharma’s comedy show, much to the delight of the show’s viewers.
