Karachi Mayor, Murtaza Wahab denies demolition of 150-year-old temple.
Wahab tweeted, “Have investigated. Here are two pictures of the Hindu Temple. The Mandir has not undergone any such demolition, and it is still standing.
Hindu Panchayat has been requested to assist police in learning the truth after administration stepped in and intervened. I’ll keep you all updated on this. PPP supports individuals from all communities.

The old Mari Mata Temple in the Soldier Bazaar neighbourhood of the port city was reportedly destroyed on Friday night in a covert operation, according to local media.
Locals in the neighbourhood claimed to have seen a police mobile there to “cover” the guys running the machinery, according to Geo News.
