Karachi to Shiver as Cold Spell of Wind Set to Hit from Thursday

Karachi braces for a cold spell, Thursday’s low anticipated at 5°C.

A new cold spell of wind begins to affect the entirety of Sindh, including Karachi, from Thursday and may last until Tuesday, by a forecast released by the early caution center of the Pakistan Meteorological Department on Tuesday (January 17).

The minimum temperature is predicted to be between five and seven degrees in Hyderabad, Tando Allahyar, Tandu Muhammad Khan, and Thatta, according to the Met department.

There is an opportunity that the temperature in other districts, for example, Larkana, Qamber Shahdadkot, Jacobabad, Jamshoro, Dadu, and Tharparkar, would be between two and four degrees Celsius.

The elements service said that during the cold spell of wind temperatures in Shaheed Benazirabad, Nowsheroferoz, Khairpur, Sukkur, Ghotki, and Sanghar could fall as low as three to five degrees.

Individuals have been urged to just take precautions during the cold wave by the current weather authorities.

The town’s lowest recorded temperature was 13.5 degrees Celsius, which is one degree more than the day before Tuesday.

The Met department noted that for the following twenty-four hours, the town’s weather is predicted to remain cool and dry while morning fog and winds being high possible.
