Karachi Will have Own Zipline and Chairlift Soon

KMC modern Chairlift & Zipline Projects in Karachi Kidney Hill Park.

The specifics state that chairlift and zipline projects will be developed through public-private partnerships (PPPs) and will bring in money for the KMC. The change was made immediately after Barrister Murtaza Wahab, the head of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), was replaced as Administrator of Karachi by Dr. Saif-ur-Rehman.

Murtaza Wahab, a former administrator of Karachi, inaugurated a waterfall in Kidney Hill Park a week ago. The inaugural was attended by the director of parks, Junaid Ullah Khan, the district commissioner, Syed Afzal Zaidi, and other influential people.

Murtaza Wahab announced that the park had been repaired by the KMC and was now open to the public during the event. This is why millions of saplings have been planted in this park; according to him, making Karachi green was his top priority.

It’s important to keep in mind that the park was in bad condition a few years ago. It once represented a bleak environment with several illegal intrusions inside of it. The park has basically turned into a haven for drug users. But the KMC recently finished converting it into a popular tourist destination.
