Vitamin C is found in abundance in kiwi. Vitamin C has long been believed to be essential for enhancing human health. Additionally, scientists believe that this fruit provides vitamin C more quickly and consistently than vitamin C pills.

In an eight-week study, a team from the University of Otago in New Zealand looked at how vitamin C deficiency affected 155 people.
The participants were divided into three groups, the first received a daily dose of vitamin C, the second received a placebo, which is an inactive drug with no adverse effects, and the third group was given two kiwis per day. Then, they completed a smartphone survey to report their physical activity, mood and sleep quality.

According to a study in the British Journal of Nutrition, kiwifruit improved mood and physical health in just four days, with the greatest benefit occurring between days 14 and 16.
However, after 12 days, the effects of vitamin C supplementation were minimal.
“This research helps us understand that what we eat has immediate effects on how we feel,” said study leader Dr Ben Fletcher.
