The caretaker government of Sindh has introduced a motorcycle ambulance service for the first time in the province with the support of the World Health Organization.
According to the details, WHO has provided bike ambulances to the Sindh Integrated Emergency and Health Services (Rescue 1122) of the Sindh government, with the help of which the volunteers of 1122 were able to provide medical assistance to the patients in the shortest possible time.
Officials say that the motorcycle ambulance will be able to provide timely medical assistance to injured or sick patients in the narrow streets and traffic jams of Karachi. have gone
Motorcycle ambulances are equipped with mini-medicine kits, fire extinguishers, oxygen masks, emergency bags, glucometers, polyneck hard collars, CBR masks, dressing kits and nebulizers, among other medical facilities that will prove valuable to patients.
The Sindh government says that it is possible to reach the patient in 5 to 8 minutes by motorcycle ambulance, while the patient will be taken to the nearest ambulance or hospital after providing immediate medical assistance. It will also be possible to treat patients on occasion.
