In his upcoming project, Muneeb Butt has revealed that he will be playing the part of a trans assistant commissioner.
As we say goodbye to 2022, a tonne of new TV shows are on the way, with Muneeb Butt and Saba Qamar’s show for ARY Digital being one of the most recent. The six-episode limited series may appear to be your typical serial, but Butt told Images that just by bringing attention to social issues, it is “breaking stereotypes.”
After the government of Pakistan approved the bill protecting the rights of the transgender community. The entertainment sector can easily represent trans characters and their accomplishments in drama serials. In his upcoming project with Saba Qamar, actor Muneeb Butt will represent the country’s first transgender assistant commissioner.
In a post on Instagram that included several images, the actor defined his role.
His caption read:
I’m very happy to announce that I will be characterizing the first trans-Assistant Commissioner in a future project. Something that challenges societal stereotypes. I had been waiting impatiently to share the identity of the character I would soon be portraying. I’ve never had to play a role as difficult or as demanding as this one, and I had to step outside of my comfort zone. I hope the journey will be enjoyable for you. I look forward to hearing from you.
Am really excited to announce that i am playing a very unique character of first Trans Assistant Commissioner in my upcoming project.
Something that breaks the stereotypes in our society.

One doesn’t get the opportunity to work on a project like this every day.
“This has a wonderful message that completely excludes such people from our society, leaving them with only a few options for employment, including working as a sex worker, a dancer, or beggaring at intersections. It’s a message that you can achieve anything you want if you work hard, study, and don’t pay attention to what other people think, said the 30-year-old celebrity.
