Murad Ali Shah takes Oath as Chief Minister of Sindh

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has taken the oath of office.

According to the details, Syed Murad Ali Shah took oath as the Chief Minister for the third time in a row while the swearing in ceremony was held at the Governor House where Shah also met Sindh Governor Kamran Tesori before taking oath.

During the meeting, the political situation of the country and especially the affairs of Sindh were discussed. The oath-taking ceremony of Sindh Governor was attended by PPP political leaders and top civil and military officials, including the party chairman.

Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari congratulated Murad Ali Shah on being elected Chief Minister for the third consecutive time. The outgoing caretaker Chief Minister of the province, Justice (Rtd) Maqbool Baqir was also present in the swearing-in ceremony.

Earlier, the Sindh Assembly meeting for the election of the Chief Minister was presided over by the newly elected Speaker Owais Qadir Shah, during which Murad Ali Shah got 112 votes while the opposite candidate from MQM, Ali Sohri, got 36 votes.
