On Friday, a newborn was kidnapped from Mardan Medical Complex, KP.
The mother of the kid was reportedly being taken to the ward for care following birth when an unknown burqa-clad woman entered the labor room and kidnapped newborn baby the infant.
A woman may be seen running after carrying newborn baby on the hospital’s CCTV camera. The CCTV footage also shows a young man with the woman.
Dr. Tariq Mehmood, the director of Mardan Medical Complex Hospital, asserted that CCTV footage had allowed for the identification of the woman. The director continued, “Investigation will determine who kidnapped the child and why.”
The occurrence caused panic and fury in the neighborhood, which prompted the authorities to act right away.
