A notification has been issued for the new price of milk in Karachi city.
According to the new notification, the Commissioner Karachi has said that the retail price of milk will remain at Rs 220 per liter.
The recently issued notification states that there has been a slight change in the prices of milk for various sectors.
According to the notification, the prices of milk for dairy farmers have been increased by Rs 5 and have now been fixed at Rs 200 per liter.
Similarly, the wholesale market price of milk has increased by Rs 3 from the fixed price of Rs 208 per liter.

Meanwhile, there has been no change in the retail price for residents and milk will still be sold at Rs 220 per liter.
According to the administration, the purpose of keeping the retail price the same is to protect citizens from inflation.
It should be noted that the milk prices that the Commissioner Karachi had earlier fixed on June 13, 2024, have now been changed.
