Petrol price likely to decrease by Rs9.62 per litre in Pakistan
Islamabad: For the next two weeks, the Petrol price likely to decrease by Rs9.62 per litre in Pakistan, but diesel prices are likely to rise.

According to reports, for the final fifteen days of the current month of September, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has suggested a decrease in fuel price.

But only Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s approval will a final decision about new petrol prices be publicly released.

For the time being, the price of diesel is expect to rise by Rs3.04 per litre, from Rs247.26 to Rs250.30.

The federal government announced an increase in fuel and diesel prices on August 31 for the first two weeks of September.

And after the PSO exchange change, the purchase price is ex-refinery of is estimate to increase by Rs3.04 per litre to Rs231.90 from earlier Rs228.87 per litre.

Still, for end customers, the distribution margin for petrol and diesel stands at Rs3.68 per litre and Rs7 per litre.

The imposition of petroleum  on petrol stands at Rs37.50 per litre as well as on diesel at Rs7.50 per litre.

The Rs4.76 per litre on petrol has been charge by means of IFEM (Inland Freight Equalisation Margin) and Re0.21 on diesel.
