PM Shehbaz Sharif: No load-shedding during Suhr and Iftar in Ramadan.
According to the sources, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in the summer of this year to review the load-shedding and supply of electricity and various projects of the power sector.
Where Mr. Shehbaz Sharif instructed to minimize load shedding in the coming summer and said that load shedding should not be done during Suhr and Iftar during Ramadan, besides speeding up the solarization of government buildings.
Expressing his anger, the Prime Minister said, “Why was the delay in the completion of the Thar Matiari 500 KV transmission line taken?” Departmental action should be taken.
The Prime Minister also issued instructions for the immediate formation of the NTDC Board.
