Pak Met Department: Monsoon rains to resume countrywide from July 13.

The weather forecast has predicted that more monsoon waves from the Arabian Sea are likely to enter the upper and central regions of the country from July 12 to July 17.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), monsoon currents will hit Pakistan’s upper regions on July 14 and bring rain and thunderstorms to the Kashmir, Murree, Galliyat, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and Potohar regions.

From July 14 to July 16, Azad Kashmir, the Hazara division, Gilgit, and different areas of Punjab can expect severe rainfall as a result of this weather system.

Since June 25, 86 persons have died and 151 have been injured due to the recent monsoon rains in Pakistan.
