Punjab’s Cabinet adds underground the blue and purple lines to ADP.
Details indicate that the choice was made at the sixth cabinet meeting, which was presided over by Chaudhry Pervez Elahi, the chief minister of Punjab. With the assistance of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the Punjab government will introduce an underground train system, a blue line, a purple line, and a mass transit project in Lahore, according to Chief Minister Pervez Elahi.
He also stated that the project will be built on a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) basis at no cost to the provincial government. The Underground Mass Transit System, also known as the Underground Train System, will be constructed from Valencia to the Allama Iqbal International Airport, Karma Chowk, Liberty Chowk, and Data Darbar.
