Pakistani-born Canadian lawmaker Shafqat Ali presented the Queen Elizabeth Award to the singer on behalf of the Canadian government.
He said that he is proud that Canadians of Pakistani origin are also represented in the Canadian Parliament.
According to him, Pakistanis are present in every part of the world and are shining the name of their country by showing the essence of their abilities.
