All food enterprise have been urged to obtain business license by SFA.
Details indicate that the Sindh Food Authority (SFA) has threatened to penalize business owners who do not obtain business licenses. According to a statement from the authority, the food authority is committed to enforcing food quality standards across the province.
It has been recommended that all restaurants, dairy stores, manufacturers, ice factories, wedding venues, cold storage facilities, and hotels obtain their business permits as soon as possible.
SFA Developed SOPs
The SFA has developed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for many different types of enterprises that deal with food and agriculture, including hotels, restaurants, dairy stores, and others.
