Federal Cabinet links relief for electricity consumer to IMF approval.
Caretaker Information Minister Murtaza Solangi has said that Caretaker Finance Minister is taking IMF on board for relief in electricity bills.
He said that there are some decisions that need to be taken on board by the IMF for implementation. In a few hours, a decision on power bills will be taken with the IMF on board.

It may be recalled that during the meeting of the Federal Cabinet, there was no agreement to give relief to consumers from their high prices.
According to the sources of the federal cabinet, it was told in the briefing that the IMF agreement is a major obstacle in providing relief to the electric consumers.
