On Sunday afternoon, three armed thieves broke into a renowned restaurant in Karachi’s Sindhi Muslim Society neighborhood in broad daylight.
When his wife and her friend went to the restaurant in Karachi’s Sindhi Muslim Society for brunch in the afternoon at around 1:30 pm, Hamza Syed, a Facebook user, posted the story and said that after 15 minutes, he received a call from an unknown number.
He said, “When I got the package, I heard my wife’s voice and I could tell she was scared because three armed men had stolen 13 cell phones.”
Syed further stated that there was no security guard there to ensure the patrons’ safety.
As the armed dacoits rob whomever they want and kill them at the smallest resistance, the city police have been unable to stop the swelling wave of violent street crimes.
A youth was shot dead earlier that day in Karachi’s Scheme 33 neighborhood by an armed robber.
Sana Tariq, a woman, was shot dead on January 6 by ruthless thieves in Karachi’s Gulistan-e-Jauhar neighborhood due to her resistance.
Details indicate that the deceased woman had gone to the pharmacy with her brother to purchase the medications when the tragedy occurred.
When the 30-year-old refused to hand over valuables to the petty thieves, she was slain by them. The woman was shot in the neck, and she instantly passed away.
