Ronaldo Banned for a Match after Obscene Gesture towards Fans

Cristiano Ronaldo was banned for 2 matches for making obscene gesture.

According to the website ‘Gol’, which publishes news related to sports, Ronaldo was banned and fined for making obscene gesture at fans during the Saudi Football League match.

During the match between Al-Shabaab and Al-Nasr in the Saudi League, the fans chanted “Messi Messi” on which Ronaldo got angry. After Al-Nasr scored a goal, he made inappropriate gestures to the fans.

The video, which went viral on social media, was scrutinized by the Saudi football body, after which it was decided to ban Ronaldo. In this match played against Al-Shabab, Ronaldo’s team won 3-2.

Ronaldo has previously experienced irritation from supporters who show support for Messi during one of his games.

After a loss to Al-Hilal, the Portuguese star sparked controversy in another video that went popular on social media last year when he responded to rival fans waving Messi shirts by pressing upwards and sticking his palm in his genital area.

The Al Nassr captain’s relationship with the Saudi supporters has not been good, even in recent times.

After losing the Riyadh Season Cup final, the Portuguese were walking back to the ground tunnel when an Al-Hilal shirt was thrown at him, making headlines for all the wrong reasons.
