According to reports, the hacker also took control of the accounts of several other well-known individuals, including American singer Charlie Puth and Google CEO Sundar Pichai.

Elon Musk, the CEO of Twitter, has reportedly been offered a deal by hackers, who make the claim to have obtained the data of close to 400 million Twitter users.

Huge amounts of data, including email and phone numbers, had been breached and sold on the dark web, according to intellectual ability firm Hudson Rock. Additionally, it posted images of the Twitter post where the hacker disclosed details about the data leak.

The hacker stated in his post, “I am selling data of +400 million unique Twitter users that were scraped via a weakness, this data is completely private.

If Elon Musk or Twitter are reading this, those who already face the possibility of GDPR fines due to the exposure of the personal information of over 54 million users. There will now be fines for the 400 million user data leak, the post stated.

“Buying this data exclusively is your best option to avoid paying $2.76 million in CDPR breach fines like Facebook did (due to 533 million users being scrapped),” it continued.
