Rachel Zegler, Shazam! actress, share why she joined Fury of the Gods.
The Actress Rachel Zegler recently admitted to The Hollywood Reporter that she “needs a job” and that it has been challenging for her to get any other employment.
One of the three goddess daughters of the Titan Atlas, represented in the film by the 21-year-old actress who played Athena, said, “In actuality, the epidemic was still in full swing when I was off the job. West Side Story hadn’t been out yet, therefore I was unable to find employment. I had an extremely difficult time finding work, so when I saw this in my inbox, I was quite happy.”
Zegler remarked, “It was a great experience for me to make the movie,” “I adored the first movie, and I’m so lucky to have gotten this role that they even asked me to come in for a callback, a camera read, and everything else in between. As a result of this profession, I met some of my closest friends. I’m thrilled because I also just enjoy this movie.”
Following the success of its predecessor’s theatrical debut in April 2019, the eagerly awaited movie Shazam! Fury of the Gods was released on March 17, 2023.
With Asher Angel, who is resuming his function as Shazam’s juvenile alter ego, Billy Batson, Zachary Levi made a comeback as the eponymous superhero.
The actress admitted that playing her part “was so much pleasure” in July 2022.
In a video interview he gave at Comic Con, Zegler remarked, “She is so delightfully multifaceted, and getting to work with Helen and Lucy was incredible.
