Sindh CNG Stations to Close for 72 Hours Starting Tomorrow

KARACHI: Gas scarcity in Sindh will shut down CNG stations tomorrow.

Sui Southern Gas Company has issued a 72-hour gas supply cutoff for CNG stations and a 48-hour gas supply cutoff for businesses.

The gas supply to all CNG station in Sindh province, including RLNG pumps, will be shut off for 72 hours starting on Saturday, August 26 at 8 a.m., and ending on Monday, August 28 at 8 a.m., according to a spokeswoman for Sui Southern Gas Company.

Starting at 8 a.m. on August 26, the gas supply to all general industries and Capto Power will likewise be cut off for the following 48 hours. The firm gave no explanation for why the gas was switched off.
