1) Dryness: Dry air produced by room heaters can cause dry skin, eyes and throat.

2) Carbon Monoxide Poisoning: Heaters running on subpar fuel can emit fumes that can cause carbon monoxide poisoning if inhaled in large enough quantities. Its symptoms can be life-threatening in severe cases and include headache, nausea and dizziness.

3) Overheating: Improper use or maintenance of room heater can cause them to overheat and create a fire hazard.

4) Allergies and Asthma: Airborne allergens such as pet dander and dust mites can be triggered by room heater. It can worsen asthma symptoms and cause allergic reactions.

5) Eye and skin irritation: The expansion and dryness of hot air from room heater can irritate the eyes and skin.

6) Pollution: Sulfur dioxide and nitrogen dioxide can be released into the air by some types of room heaters, such as kerosene or gas heater. Breathing in these gases can cause respiratory problems.
