Russian students will learn how to operate, assemble & clean weapons.
Russia has said it will begin teaching every student firearms and other skills, including how to use firearms and operate weapons, at the start of the new school year.
Along with the curriculum, students in these classes will learn how to use, assemble, clean, and administer first aid to hand grenades while engaged in combat.
Only children aged 16 or over in their final year of secondary school will receive this military training. Its aim is to make them aware of the basic principles of life safety.
It should be noted that this training was previously given to Russian students in the 1980s, which was declared illegal.
Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered in April to make drone education part of the curriculum. It was then revealed last month that pupils will also be taught how to build and fly drones.
