Pak Suzuki has increased the price of Swift GLX CVT by Rs.3 lakh 4000.
Pak Suzuki Motor Company Limited has passed on the effect of the 7% increase in general sales tax to consumers suzuki Swift GLX CVT price increased by Rs 3 lakh 4 thousand.
According to the report, after this increase, the price of Suzuki Swift GLX CVT has increased to Rs 54 lakh 29 thousand, which was earlier available at Rs 51 lakh 25 thousand.
It may be noted that on March 8, the government had increased the sales tax on locally assembled vehicles from 18% to 25%, which cost more than Rs 40 lakh, which fall under Chapter 87.03 of the Pakistan Customs Tariff.

Other auto assemblers are also evaluating the GST hike and will announce revised prices soon.
On March 2, Pak Suzuki Motor Company Limited surprised consumers by increasing the prices of various car models from 65 thousand rupees to 1 lakh 80 thousand rupees.
According to the circular issued to the authorized dealers, Pak Suzuki has increased the price of Suzuki Alto VX, VXR, VXR (AGS), and VXL (AGS) respectively. The new prices are 23 lakh 31 thousand, 27 lakh 7 thousand, 28 lakh 94 thousand, and 3 million 45 thousand respectively. Previously, these cars were available for 22 lakh 51 thousand, 26 lakh 12 thousand, 27 lakh 99 thousand, and 29 lakh 35 thousand rupees.
The price of Suzuki Cultus VXR, VXL, and AGS models has been increased from Rs.10 lakh to Rs.1 lakh 80 thousand.
The new prices are Rs.38 lakh 58 thousand, Rs 42 lakh 44 thousand, and Rs 45 lakh 46 thousand respectively. Previously, they were sold for 37 lakh 18 thousand, 4 million 84 thousand, and 43 lakh 66 thousand rupees.
