Teacher in Karachi private school face criticism for severe punishment
According to the details, the incident took place at Al-Sahar School located in Korangi No. 3 area of Karachi when a seventh-grade student was severely beaten up as a result of which his arm was broken by the teacher.
13-year-old Rafi has accused his teacher of hitting him with a stick and breaking his arm in two places.
The school principal immediately called Rafa’s father Rizwan and informed him about the incident but asked him to keep quiet and not tell anyone about it.
However, it has been reported that Rizwan decided to take legal action against the teacher and filed a complaint at Korangi police station.
In his statement to the police, Rizwan said that when he tried to contact the principal to inquire about the incident, he ignored him and told him to do whatever he wanted.
Rizwan also said that the principal’s behavior has raised her concerns to ensure the safety of her two other children, who also attend the same school.
Rizwan also decided to pull his children out of school, fearing that they would face similar treatment when the school year was about to end.
