A Motorist killed after bandits opened fire during a robbery attempt.
The victim of the fatal shooting incident at the robbery of Babusar has been named as Mohammad Rashid from Punjab, according to the local police.
The thieves obstructed traffic coming from the direction of the visitors by blocking the road with stones. The robbers opened fire when the driver attempted to back because he sensed danger, tragically taking his life in the process.
In addition to the driver, there were six additional passengers in the car at the time of the accident.
The tourist’s death in Babusar has drawn the attention of Gilgit-Baltistan’s Chief Minister, who has ordered officials to find the murderers within 48 hours.
