Transporters raised fares by 10-15 % post-petroleum price increase.
Fares from Lahore to other cities have been hiked by 200 to 300 rupees, now the fare from Lahore to Karachi has increased from 5800 to 6100 rupees.
Fare from Lahore to Peshawar has been increased from Rs 2200 to Rs 2350, Quetta fare has been increased from Rs 4200 to Rs 4400.
Murree fare has increased from Rs 2200 to Rs 2400 while Peshawar fare has been increased from Rs 2200 to Rs 2500.
It should be noted that the government has increased the price of petrol by 14 rupees 91 paise and the price of diesel by 18 rupees 44 paise per liter.
