Unused Gmail Accounts will be Delete After Two Days

In 2023, Google Announced to Delete Inactive Gmail Accounts.

After November 30, 2023, Google will begin start delete dormant Gmail accounts, according to the Associated Press (AP).

Users who use Google’s Gmail for email are advised that if they haven’t used any of their Gmail accounts in two years, they should use the account for a while now.

Otherwise, they will not be able to access their account from December 1.

For this reason, Google recommended that all users log into their Gmail accounts at least once every two years.

According to Company policy, accounts created by users for their office, school, home, or business or work-related purposes will be secured.

Accounts created for personal use only will be deleted.

That is, a user’s Gmail account created in the name of his business, organization or school will not be deleted even if he has not used it for two years.

Users who wish to keep their accounts and have not logged in for two years are advised by the company.

They should log in as soon as possible before December 1 to avoid having their accounts cancelled.

Before Gmail, Twitter also announced to delete inactive accounts.

While there were also reports that Twitter plans to sell the usernames of inactive accounts instead of deleting them.
