Why Don’t Women Get Jobs After Becoming Doctors?

Many educated women in Watan Aziz are unemployed for various reasons.

In this regard, it has been reported in the Gallup survey that 35% of women in Pakistan take a doctors degree but do not get a jobs.

According to the report, out of 1 lakh 35 thousand female medical graduates, 68 thousand women are associated with some hospital or medical field while 35 thousand are not associated with any job.

In this regard, various public circles call such a situation alarming for the society and the reason for non-availability of medical facilities.

In this regard, Secretary General Pakistan Medical Association Dr. Abdul Ghafoor Shoro said that the number of doctors in the country is very less in terms of the country’s population.

The tragedy of our society is that people want to marry educated girls but do not get them employed, due to which women doctors prefer to sit at home and become housewifes.

In response to a question, he said that the biggest disadvantage of women doctors not getting a job after education is that they cannot participate in the development of the country and also the interest of millions of rupees imposed on women doctors by the government and parents. The disease cannot be proven, which causes significant damage to the medical sector of Pakistan.

Dr. Abdul Ghafoor Shoro said that in this situation such legislation should be made that the students who do not benefit the country and the nation after getting the degree should be fined, he added that either such a serious profession should not be adopted and when adopted, all its requirements should be fulfilled.
